Fannie FlapJack

Fannie FlapJack is a really great Mammy Kitchen Doll that I've recently finished, and very quickly sold! I thought i'd post her here for you all to see! A great primitive grungy doll...measuring approx. 29" high. She is a creation of my own...I used a pattern from Country Friends for the body only and I just "went" from there... Hope you enjoy her! Fannie is sewn from muslin...painted, distressed and stained...then stained some more! She is wearing a homespun dress with vintage buttons and a slip underneath. She has real leather shoes on! Sweet! and old stained socks around her ankles. Her eyes are hand stitched, she has sculpted lips....and her hair is 100% wool. She is wearing a stained head wrap. Her knees and elbows bend so she is easy to pose in your favorite position...she really looks great in a small chair. Fannie is all ready to get breakfast..she comes complete with her sack of pancake mix and an old wooden spoon! What a terrific doll for your primitive kitchen collection. Fannie FlapJack is a quality hand-made doll by NikNak-PaddyWhack.
